Venezuela’s national civil aviation institute took delivery on 28 June of three Mil Mi-172 helicopters valued at $26 million. The aircraft, equipped with forward looking infrared sensors and configured for 14 stretchers and medical equipment, will be used to enhance search and rescue services around Maracaibo, Maiquetia and Barcelona.
