TAG Aviation Asia will add its first Airbus A319 Corporate Jet to its fleet in Hong Kong in the coming weeks.
With a 44-seat capacity, it will be TAG's largest capacity aircraft in its fleet in Hong Kong, says TAG Aviation Holdings CEO Rob Wells, adding that he hopes to add more ACJs in the future.
The ACJ will meet market demand in the region for such large capacity business jets, says Wells. "It's largely a factor of what our clients want and we are responding to that," he adds.

He expects to add the ACJ later this month or in early April. TAG Aviation currently manages a fleet of 20 aircraft but expects to grow this further. It recently signed a joint venture with Shenyang-based First Mandarin group to operate mainland China-registered aircraft.
Airbus currently has six ACJs operating with Chinese customers. It expects to also deliver an ACJ to Chinese business jet operator Deer Jet soon.
