Saudia has confirmed its order for 23 Boeing 777-200s, five B747-400s, 29 MD-90s and four MD-11s.

Announcing its intention to build a stretched version of the B777, Boeing received orders for 10 B777-300s from All Nippon Airways and six from Thai International.

Cathay Pacific has converted seven of its original 777-200 orders to -300s, while Korean Air has ordered four -300s and will convert another four -300s from its -200 order. China Airlines and EVA Airways have each ordered four B777-200s, and Eva has options on four more.

Lauda Air and Eurobelgian Airlines have each ordered two Boeing 737-800s, with deliveries to begin in May 1998. Air Europa has signed an MoU for eight 737-800s.

Cargolux has ordered a fourth B747-400F for the second half of 1995. UPS has taken up options on five B757Fs.

KLM is changing its order for two Boeing 747-400 freighters into combis and will take three B767-300ERs from ILFC.

Lufthansa has ordered 20 Airbus A319s, while Air Canada has converted 10 A319 options to orders.

TransAsia Airways has ordered two A320s and two A321s in addition to its existing A321 order. Air Macau is to lease two A320s and two A321s from ILFC end 1995.

Aeroflot has ordered two A310-300s to operate from Moscow to Berlin and Beijing.

China Eastern and China Northern have signed a letter of intent with McDonnell Douglas for 20 MD-90s as part of the Trunkliner programme.

Korean Airlines has ordered three MD-80s, due for delivery in early 1996. AOM French Airlines has exercised options on two more MD-80s. U Land Airlines of Taiwan has ordered two MD-82s. Vasp has ordered two MD-11s.

American Eagle has ordered 25 Saab 340BPlus for delivery later this year.

Air Canada has confirmed the remaining 14 of its order for 24 Canadair Regional Jets.

Sierra Expressway, a new California regional, will lease 13 Jetstream Super 31s from JSX Corporation.

Turkish Airlines has ordered its ninth and tenth Avro RJ100s.

Mellilla Jet, a Spanish start-up, is to lease two BAe146-100s from British Aerospace's Asset Management Organ-

isation. Malmo Aviation is taking a ninth BAe146 from AMO.

Eagle Aviation of Kenya has ordered an ATR42-320 and Venezuelan regional IAACA has ordered two.

SkyWest, the Delta Connection carrier based in Utah, has ordered 10 EMB.120 Brasilia Advanced aircraft, while Passaredo Transportes Aereos, a Brazilian start up, has ordered two EMB.120QCs.

Atlas Air has purchased three Boeing 747-200 combis from Alitalia and will convert them to all-freighters.

Finnair will lease its four DC-10s to French independent Air Liberté for five years.

AIEP of Nigeria has ordered 13 used Dornier 228s from Daimler-Benz Aerospace.

ILFC has chosen IAE V2500 engines for six A319s plus seven high gross weight A321-200s, and is the launch customer for both applications.

ILFC will be the first customer for the V2500 powered Airbus A319, having chosen V2500s for up to six A319s.
