Garuda Indonesia is seeking letters of interest from prospective financiers, lessors and banks to finance five Airbus A320neos due for delivery in 2018.

The carrier says that letters of interest are due by 16 March via email to its fleet finance department. Requests for proposals will then be issued on the following day. Sources indicate that the carrier is open to a wide range of proposals to finance the aircraft.

Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that the A320neos will be powered by CFM International Leap-1A26 engines and operated by its Citilink Indonesia unit.

Garuda recently conducted a similar process for financing 16 Boeing 737 Max 8s that will be delivered between 2017 and 2020.
