Germany's regional Eurowings and KLM have sealed their long-term alliance by signing a contract for an expansion of their current co-operation. As well as joining KLM's Flying Dutchman frequent flyer programme, the two airlines are planning to increase their share of the German market from the current 7% to 15 per cent.
