GA Telesis’ component services group has delivered the first set of landing gear from its recently-established gear leasing pool.

The milestone saw Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (GAMECO) take an Airbus A320 family landing gear set, says GA Telesis.

The leasing pool also includes landing gear ship sets for the A330, Boeing 737, 777-200ER, as well as the Bombardier CRJ700 and CRJ900. GA Telesis says it plans to increase the number of types covered, and aims to cover most narrow- and widebody aircraft by 2021.

Kevin Geissler, vice president of GA Telesis’ Aviation Lease Solutions says: “Our customers have requested a lease solution as an alternative to purchasing landing gear that they require to support their fleet during shop visits and fleet retirement management. We have listened to the voice of the customer and built a lease pool accordingly.”
