Philippine Airlines has agreed debt financing for four Airbus A321neos with GECAS subsidiary PK AirFinance and Tamweel Aviation Finance.
GECAS says PK AirFinance will provide senior debt, while Tamweel – the junior debt fund of Dubai-based lessor Novus Aviation Capital – will extend a mezzanine loan for each aircraft.
The first of the A321neos was delivered in May and the remaining three are scheduled for handover by year-end.

Hanwha Aerospace has broken ground on a new facility to licence-build the GE Aerospace F414 engine for the Korea Aerospace Industries KF-21 fighter.
Hydrogen fuel cell and aircraft electrification technologies developed by Japan’s IHI will be further refined through projects initiated by the country’s New Energy and Industrial Development Organization.
