Aeria Luxury Interiors, the VIP completions firm owned by ST Aerospace, has been selected to complete the interior modification and heavy maintenance of a Boeing 767-200ER aircraft.

Aeria's scope of work extends from design, engineering and installation to project management, says ST Aero.

The aircraft will also have its heavy maintenance at ST Aero's facilities, taking advantage of the company's expertise, it adds.

"Aeria will undertake the modification of the aircraft's in-flight entertainment set up to include a new surround sound speaker system and high definition monitors; engineering of interior door locks; installation of a trash compartment and refrigerator/freezer; as well as design of a new interior soft goods palette, including leathers, divan fabrics, deco panels and headliners," says the firm.

Aeria will perform the interior modification when the aircraft is stripped of its cabin fittings during heavy maintenance, it adds.

The 767 will be delivered to the company's facility in San Antonio, Texas in November before redelivery to its undisclosed owner in April 2013.

The latest contract is Aeria's second after the redelivery of a Boeing Business Jet in August.
