Macquarie AirFinance has closed the acquisition of an Airbus A319-100 on lease to Mexican carrier Volaris.

The aircraft, MSN 3491, is equipped with V2524-A5 engines.

The 2008-vintage aircraft is on a 10-year operating lease to Volaris, according to Flightglobal's ACAS database. This is part of the ILFC portfolio purchase announced earlier this year.

Separately Macquarie AirFinance has arranged another sale transaction on behalf of the EAST securitisation. It sold a Boeing 757-200ER (23983) aircraft with RB211-535E4 engines to Allegiant Air. The 1998-vintage was previously operated by Euro Atlantic Airways.
