Honeywell components will soon be more accessible to Airbus A350 customers in Asia-Pacific through an expanded partnership with Lufthansa Technik (LHT).
The new deal sees LHT will act as a licensed component repair centre and exclusive global asset service provider in the region for Honeywell’s A350 components.
Operators in the region will have quicker access to LHT’s services, such as component MRO, or flight-hour-based “nose-to-tail” asset availability solutions.
Honeywell adds that increased quantities of its A350 components will be readily available for rent from LHT's global logistics network.
Honeywell and LHT have been working together on the A350 MRO services since late 2014, when the aircraft first entered service. The German company has exclusive contracts with seven operators in Asia-Pacific.
