Business aircraft outfitter and modification specialist Comlux America is on the move, having started a project to significantly expand its footprint and workforce in Indianapolis.
The company on 15 October said it had signed a “strategic partnership with the Indianapolis Airport Authority to expand its hangar capacity and operational footprint”. Comlux America is based in the Midwestern city.
It is a response to what the firm calls “strong demand across multiple platforms” and a “record order backlog”.
That backlog comprises 28 jets, among them six Airbus A220s to be modified for Magnifica Air, four of the airframer’s purpose-build ACJ TwoTwenty business jets, three A320neos and 15 A321neos, it says.

Comlux plans in the first quarter of 2026 to open two new hangars in Indianapolis housing four bays for narrowbody jets. It intends by the end of next year to further expand its presence to include another four bays.
The firm meanwhile expects to have increased its workforce 20% in 2025 and another 20% next year.
“The strength of our backlog and the expansion of our facilities and capabilities are central to Comlux’s next phase of growth,” says Comlux America chief executive Adam White.
“It’s also a key factor in bringing new investors on board. Their confidence reflects the resilience and scalability of our business model as we continue to serve a global client base.”
