The order, which was placed in August, has a list price value of $564 million, Boeing says. It adds it now has 16 orders for the 787 variant of the BBJ. The cabin volume of the BBJ 787-9 is 260 sq m (2,800 sq ft).

Total commitments for the 787 family now stand at more than 1,450 orders from over 80 customers on six continents.
