Textron Aviation has rolled out the 200th Cessna Citation Latitude, less than four years after the midsize business jet entered service.

The milestone was marked at a ceremony at the airframer's Wichita, Kansas headquarters on 15 April. The aircraft will now undergo interior outfitting and painting before being handed over later this year to the largest Latitude customer, NetJets.

Cirium's Fleets Analyzer shows the fractional ownership provider has an active fleet of 78 Latitudes, plus orders and options for 122 of the 2,700nm (5,000km)-range type.

Textron Aviation describes the Latitude as "the most popular midsize business jet in the world", leading industry deliveries for this segment over the past three years.

Fleets Analyzer records an in-service fleet of more than 180 aircraft, with Textron Aviation delivering 57 Latitudes in 2018, 54 in 2017 and 42 in 2016.

Certificated in 43 countries, "the worldwide Latitude fleet has amassed more than 150,000 flight hours" to date, says the manufacturer.
