Jet Aviation is to acquire a trio of Pilatus PC-24 midsize business jets for lease to the French navy as transport and training assets.

Under a contract from France’s DMAe agency, Jet Aviation will purchase the three Swiss-built PC-24s and provide sustainment, including on-site line and base maintenance, over the duration of the contract.

No details on the contract value were immediately disclosed, however.

The French navy will use the PC-24 for pilot training and transport missions

Delivery of the first aircraft is scheduled for February 2026, with the remainder due to follow the same year.

The French navy will use the twinjets for pilot training, including instrument flight rules operations, plus the transport of urgent cargo.

With the commitment, France becomes the first European military customer for the PC-24.

Jet Aviation is a subsidiary of General Dynamics, which also owns US business jet manufacturer Gulfstream.
