Embraer has handed over, to Swiss, the 600th ERJ-145 since the first delivery in December 1996. The aircraft is the 25th of the type for Swiss. It is part of a $4.9 billion contract signed by Swiss predecessor Crossair in June 1999. Meanwhile, Swiss has also confirmed a commitment for 13 228-seat Airbus A340-300s.
