Pegasus Aviation has leased 15 ex-British Airways Boeing 737-200s to Argentinian flag carrier Aerolineas Argentinas. Fortis Prop Jet, the turboprop remarketing division of Fortis Aviation Group, has completed the sale and delivery to International Airline Support Group of two Embraer EMB-120 Brasilias for Bank America Leasing and Capital Group of San Francisco. Fortis Aircraft Management Services, the commercial and technical services division, has placed a second ATR 42-320 with Eagle Aviation of Kenya. Belgian flag carrier Sabena has taken delivery of its first of 33 Airbus Industrie A320s. Sabena now operates the whole range of current Airbus Industrie fly-by-wire aircraft types, both single-aisle and long-range widebodies. FedEx has purchased two Pratt & Whitney JT9D-7R4E1-powered Airbus A310-200s from the airframe manufacturer. It plans to convert the aircraft to carry cargo for service entry in mid-2000. Air Sicilia is leasing a second ex-Air France 737-200 from Irish-based Rancemont. Airborne Express has bought an ex-SAS McDonnell Douglas DC-9-41 from Tombo Aviation, taking its total of the type to 15. Air Philippines has acquired two 737-200s from United Airlines. Algeria-based Khalifa has leased a 737-400 from Turkish charter carrier Pegasus Airlines. PB Air of Thailand has appointed Aircraft Leasing & Management to sell its Fairchild Dornier 328-110 following the airline's purchase of three Fokker F28 Mk4000s from SAS. Icelandair is leasing a Boeing 757-200 freighter from Ansett Worldwide. The 757-200F replaces a 737-300 freighter.
