Estonian maintenance specialist Magnetic MRO has been granted US Federal Aviation Administration certification to add to European Part 145 approval.
The US regulator's endorsement covers line, base and engine maintenance and will open a "new range of opportunities" as it positions Magnetic MRO as "the first FAA-certified repair station in the Baltic states", says the Tallinn-based provider.
Chief executive Jonas Butautis says the FAA approval "comes well in time" amid expansion of Magnetic MRO's capabilities and will "boost" its aircraft teardown and component repair businesses.
