This week sees the return of the annual Reno National Championship Air Races, which is one of the few remaining events in the world where aircraft race against each other in real time.

The Air Races have been run since 1964 near Reno, Nevada, USA, and are currently held at Reno Stead Field, about eight miles North of Reno.
