Global Aircraft Solutions subsidiary Hamilton Aerospace Technologies (HAT) won approval from the US FAA to maintain Boeing 737-600/700/800/900 aircraft, giving the maintenance repair and overhaul company the ability to perform heavy maintenance up on those aircraft types.

The latest approval expands the services HAT offers to customers. In December 2006 the company won approval to offer line maintenance for all aircraft in the Airbus A320 family.

“The addition of the next generation 737s to our repair station rating is a very significant economic event for our company, as it will allow us to better serve our existing clients and expand our customer base,” says Hamilton CEO Gordon Hamilton.

HAT also completed maintenance on a Boeing 737-200 and delivered it to customer Canadian North Airlines. That aircraft was sold to the Canadian operator by HAT parent Global Aircraft Solutions.
