No more problems with insufficient energy to charge smartphones and tablet computers with USB connectors onboard. Redmond, Washington-based Astronics Advanced Electronic Systems (stand 6D30) has developed a power transformer, which can supply up to 2.1 Amps on four outlets for simultaneous power charging.

The FAA/EASA compliant seat equipment converts single-phase 115-volt alternating current (AC) with 360Hz-800Hz to 5-volts direct current (DC). It is wired to the advanced master control unit (AMCU), with the connector being compatible with existing Empower architectures.
