Chilean authorities have impounded six airliners belonging to Peruvian airline Aerocontinente, arrested three of the carrier's managers in a money laundering investigation and ordered a freeze on the airline's bank account, Chilean officials say. Aerocontinente, one of the bidders for Argentinian flag carrier Aerolineas Argentinas, is also the target of an investigation launched in 1999 into the laundering of drug profits.
