Luxury private jet operator VistaJet is planning to introduce the first Bombardier Global 7500 to its fleet in January, from a 2012 order for an undisclosed number of the ultra-long-range type from the Canadian airframer.

Up to five more examples of the 19-passenger Global 7500 are scheduled to join VistaJet’s fleet over the remainder of the year, bringing the operator’s inventory of high-end, branded Bombardier types to 79 aircraft. The company also has access to 43 business aircraft through its US sister company XOJET.

Thomas Flohr, founder and chief executive of VistaJet’s parent VistaGlobal, describes the Global 7500 as “the ultimate business flying machine” and “a truly unrivalled jet when it comes to speed, space and innovation”. Being able to offer it to VistaJet members “ensures that we continue to the lead the way in transforming the aviation industry”, he says.

The Global 7500’s 7,700nm (14,250km) range gives “access to 96% of the world”, VistaJet says. Non-stop city pairs it is capable of connecting include New York to Hong Kong or Singapore to San Francisco.

The Global 7500 is the only traditional business jet with four living spaces, VistaJet notes, adding that its examples all be configured with a permanent private stateroom suite.

“The 7500’s speed, range, space and technology will have a significant impact on aviation,” Flohr says.

The Malta-headquartered company has had “an incredible response from fliers interested in experiencing the 7500”, Flohr says, adding that “this is reflected by the fact we are already planning the introduction of five additional jets to arrive throughout 2020”.

VistaJet will look to take on additional aircraft in 2021 and the following years in response to customer demand, he adds.
