Canada 3000 is reducing staff, introducing pay cuts and reducing its winter timetable. Canada 3000, the country's number two carrier, is also cancelling plans to lease two Airbus A320s and has asked aircraft and engine lessors for a 90-day moratorium on some payments. The airline is reducing its winter schedule by more than 30% and cutting 316 jobs. Some employees will suffer pay cuts up to 20%.These moves are in addition to loan guarantees the airline has requested from the Canadian Government.
