PartsBase.com has entered into an agreement with E-Turtle and its subsidiary, AeroChina.com, to integrate the two aerospace e-marketplaces and create a global parts exchange. The deal will provide a Chinese and English interface to a shared database of buyers and sellers. The AirportHub.com portal has conducted its first online auction. Held for Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, the sale enabled it to dispose of operations vehicles. Leading airports are in talks to create an e-business-based alliance, World Airports. Members include Aeroports de Paris, BAA, Copenhagen, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston Airport System, Indianapolis International, Melbourne and Pittsburgh International. Worldairports.com will feature passenger benefits, while Airportsmart.com should enable airports to buy more cheaply and more easily. Delta Air Lines' website experienced its highest daily sales on 8 September, exceeding $5 million, as well as record weekly sales reaching nearly $20 million the week of 4 September. Singapore Airlines (SIA) is to invest over $100 million to bring the business operations of the SIA Group onto one e-business platform with mySAP.com.
