SimCom Training Centers has joined forces with Pilatus Aircraft (stand 7031) to offer simulator-based training to European operators of the PC-12 NG single-engined turboprop.

Under the agreement, SimCom will manufacture a type-specific, high-fidelity flight training device to provide initial and recurrent pilot training.

The simulator, scheduled to be available for training the first quarter of 2011, will be located at Pilatus's factory in Stans, Switzerland, and will replicate the PC-12 NG's Honeywell Primus Apex avionics system.

Additionally, SimCom will provide Pilatus with training course materials, including animated systems presentations, fold-out colour panel posters, technical systems manuals and cockpit procedures trainers. The training will be carried out by Pilatus's factory-trained instructors.

SimCom has since 1994 been the PC-12's exclusive factory authorised training provider in the Americas, where it has three PC-12 simulators: two in Orlando, Florida, and one in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The two simulators in Orlando provide training on series 1-9 and NG aircraft, respectively. The Scottsdale simulator provides series 10 training.
