Brazlian carrer Gol has stuck a deal to lease six Boeing 737-800 converted freighters from lessor AerCap.
Gol will take delivery of three of the narrowbodies this year, with the remainder following next year.
The converted aircraft will be operated for Latin American e-commerce company Mercado Livre as part of the expansion strategy of Gol’s logistics unit Gollog. The latter in April signed a 10-year deal with Mercado Livre to operate six aircraft, with an option to add six more by 2025.
