++ BAe Asset Management - Jets has concluded the cash sale of three BAe 146-100s in deals worth a total of $21 million. Jersey European Airways has purchased two -100s off lease. A third -100 has been sold in the US for use as an executive transport. ++ El Al has ordered a fourth Boeing 747-400, equipped with Pratt & Whitney PW4000s. GE Capital Aviation Services will lease four CFM56-5B-powered A320s to Airworld for delivery from November. ++ Swedish start-up Novair has purchased an ex-TAP Air Portugal Lockheed L-1011 TriStar 500 for delivery in October, in a deal arranged by Fortis Aviation. ++ Fortis has also placed an ex-TAP TriStar 500 with Air Transat, for delivery in November. ++ Argentinian airline LAPA has signed a deal with International Lease Finance (ILFC) for the lease of two Boeing 737-700s for 12 years, with deliveries starting in January and September 1999. ++ ILFC has also announced the lease of one Boeing 747-400F to Asiana for delivery in April 1999; two A320s to Caledonian Airways for delivery in March and April 1998; one 737-300F to Icelandair (delivered); one 757-200 to Flying Colours, for delivery next May; one 757-200 to Xinjiang Airlines for delivery in November; and one Airbus A320 to Lotus Air of Egypt, for delivery in May 1998. ++ Air Macau is to increase its fleet to seven aircraft with the lease of a third Airbus A320 from ILFC in March 1998. ++ Thai International has arranged to sell its three McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30ERs to Euro Aircraft Trading for some $27 million each. The aircraft will be leased back until April 1998. ++ Icelandair has confirmed orders for four Boeing 757s, including two -200s and two -300s, for delivery in 1998/9 and 2001/2002 respectively. ++ Boullioun Aviation Services has placed an order for three additional Boeing 737-300s. ++ Midwest Express is to acquire eight of Japan Air System's Boeing MD-81s. Deliveries are expected to begin in December and continue through to 1999.
