IPTN's second N250 turboprop prototype had its maiden flight 19 December, eight months behind schedule. The flight lasted 1.5h, during which the Indonesian aircraft reached an altitude of 10,000ft (3,300m). Aircraft PA2 is the first full-size 64- to 68-seat N250-100 prototype to be built. It will be followed by a further two test aircraft.
