Air China plans to start a new non-stop service between Wuhan and Macau from 15 January.
It will operate Airbus A320 aircraft on the route four times a week, says a spokesman.
Air China will be the only carrier operating on the route. The airline's website shows that passengers now transit at Xiamen or Beijing to travel between Wuhan and Macau.
