Kuwait's first low-cost airline, Jazeera Airways, will start operations in February, serving destinations within a 2h flight time of the Gulf state. The airline has placed orders for four Airbus A320s and four options for delivery from October, but will start with two aircraft on lease. Initial destinations include Amman, Bahrain, Beirut, Damascus, Dubai and Egypt, with further expansion planned to include cities on the Indian subcontinent.
