Boeing has been using TAAM since 1994 to satisfy the needs of its commercial airline customers by simulating potential projects in the modernisation of air traffic services.
The new licence is to meet the expected need for increased simulation work.
The TAAM allows a complete simulation of a current air traffic control system which can then generate models representing an enhanced ATC system and projected traffic growth with new airport infrastructure.
Boeing also uses the system to simulate the introduction of new aircraft and north-east corridor simulations.
The Melbourne-based Preston Group is a leader in the aviation software field.
