In-flight e-mail and internet service provider Inflightonline has launched secure access connectivity services for business aviation customers. The services provide business aircraft passengers with in-flight access to firewall-protected e-mail and corporate intranet via a virtual private network connection from the aircraft using Inmarsat satellite communications. Secure access, developed in conjunction with Infowave Software, has been demonstrated on a number of business aircraft, including a Boeing Business Jet. Inflightonline's services, dubbed Secure Wings, also provide news, stocks, weather and digital magazines.
