Moscow's governmental carrier Atlant-Soyuz has firmed its orders for 30 Antonov An-148 and 15 Tupolev Tu-204SM aircraft.

The agreement, signed with lessor Ilyushin Finance, follows a letter of intent, which was initialed at the Paris Air Show.

Atlant-Soyuz is to take financial lease on 30 An-148s in three batches before 2013.

Ilyushin Finance should deliver 15 baseline models over the next two years and 10 stretched An-148-200s in 2012, plus five in VIP configuration in 2011-12.

The aircraft will be produced by Voronezh-based airframer VASO, which recently turned out the first serial airframe.

Ilyushin Finance has also committed to supply eight Tu-204SMs, assembled under co-operation between Tupolev's plants Aviastar and KAPO, in 2011 and seven in the following year.

Atlant-Soyuz director Yevgeny Bachurin says he is confident that both types will be delivered as scheduled and help the airline meet anticipated growing demand for charter and scheduled services.
