Flight International's test pilot Pete Collins piloted the Dassault 7X serial number three (F-WSKY) business jet as it flew into the certification ceremony at Merignac last week. His flight test will appear in our 15-21 May issue. He said he was "very impressed" with the aircraft's Honeywell EASy digital flightdeck and its handling. "It flew like a fighter," said Collins, who was accompanied by Dassault's chief test pilot Bill Kerherve on the flight. "Dassault has taken the long-range benchmark and whacked it up a notch."
