Aeroflot has completed the phase-out of its Ilyushin Il-62s after flying the airliner for 36 years. The airline's last 10 Il-62s have been removed from service since the start of the year. Two have been broken up and eight sold to charter airline Alfa Air. Some Aeroflot pilots have also transferred to Alfa.
