KANSAS-BASED AIRPORT Systems International (ASI) has re-engineered its Model 1200 airfield signs and been reconfirmed as a US Federal Aviation Administration-approved supplier.
Certification was suspended when deficiencies were identified following ASI's acquisition of the Model 1200 line. The revised design meets FAA illumination requirements with a 30% reduction in energy consumption, the company says.
