AKROTECH AVIATION has introduced a two-seat version of its G-200 aerobatic kitplane. First flight of the Giles G-202 is scheduled for September. The kit price is $54,500, excluding engine and avionics. The aircraft will be suitable for unlimited-class competition aerobatics.

Troutdale, Oregon-based AkroTech says that performance differences between the G-200 and the G-202, when flown solo, "...will be almost negligible". The G-202 shares the G-200's carbonfibre-composite construction.

Wingspan and length have each been increased by 0.6m. A 150kW (200hp) Textron Lycoming engine is recommended.o
