Tom Appleton has moved from his post of vice-president of Bombardier Regional Aircraft division (BRAD) to president of the company's Amphibious Aircraft division. A former test and development pilot at de Havilland Canada, Appleton joined Bombardier as executive vice-president of the Canadair Regional Jet programme in 1991, and took up his role at BRAD following Bombardier's purchase of de Havilland in 1992.
