The USA and Israel are developing a Link 16 upgrade converter for the Arrow anti-ballistic missile system, which will allow interoperability of the Israeli missile with US anti-missile defence systems. The converter will be delivered to Israel soon for testing. This system is a two-way translator linked to special communication terminals, converting US Link 16 TADIL-J formatted messages to the Arrow formatted protocols, and vice versa.
