Israel Aircraft Industries missiles division's Barak ship-based point defence system has completed a live fire test from an Indian warship.Barakprovides 360¡ defence against sea-skimming missiles, cruise missiles, smart bombs and fixed- or rotary-wing aircraft. The missile is launched vertically, before making a rapid turn towards the target. Guidance is command to line of sight and the missile can operate in all weathers, day or night.
