The Beriev Be-200 twin-turbofan amphibian is on display at Paris for the first time. The aircraft made its maiden flight last September from the Irkutsk Aviation Production Organisation factory on Siberia. Offered in firefighting, passenger, search and rescue, and air ambulance configurations, the Be-200 is expected to make its first water take-offs and landings later this year at the Ghelendjik hydro aviation test base on the Black Sea.
