The last piece in the jigsaw for the BMW Rolls-Royce BR710 engine is now in place, having received approval from the JAA at a thrust rating of 65.6Kn (14,750lb). The BR710 powers both the Gulfstream V and the Global Express. Receiving the type certificate from the CAA's Peter Harper (centre) at the company's stand in Hall 3/D8 are Jim Kier, director of operations, and Reg Moore, chief engineer of BMW Rolls-Royce.
