BRAATHENS SAFE is to spend NKr150 million ($23.5 million) at Oslo's Gardermoen Airport, and may move its headquarters from Sola to Gardermoen when construction of the new airport is completed in 1998.

Work on the Norwegian airline's new hangar, which will be able to accommodate up to nine Boeing 737s simultaneously, is to begin late in 1996. A new cargo terminal is also scheduled to be built.

Braathens says that it will decide whether to relocate its headquarters, simulators and training equipment to Gardermoen after the airport has become operational.
