China Eastern Airlines is taking a 25% stake in Qingdao's Liuting International Airport through a joint venture company of the same name. Another partner will be the Civil Aviation Administration of China, with a 30% stake. Qingdao's local government is also taking part in the project and will hold a majority 45% interest in the venture.
