CO-OPERATION China Aviation Industries and Turbomeca are negotiating a deal to jointly manufacture the Arriel 2C engine for the Harbin Aircraft Industry H425, a civil offshoot of the indigenous Z-9 helicopter – a copy of the Eurocopter AS365. Industry sources say the two manufacturers aim to sign an industrial co-operation package for the Arriel 2C by the end of September.
