A pressure-balanced compensator developed specifically for the Lockheed Martin C130J Hercules can be seen in Hall 2/A12.
Senior Flexonics developed the product, which is installed in the bleed air ducting and environment control system, specifically for the flight test programme for the RAF.
It can sustain the 15G loads encountered by the new high-performance aircraft, and is also designed to fit older C130Js. An order has just been placed by the RAF for the retro fit in all existing C130s.
