Appointments EADS’s board was last Friday close to agreeing a new management structure, resolving an eight-month row between French and German shareholders. Noel Forgeard of Airbus and defence business chief executive Tom Enders will become chief executives of EADS, running the company with two chief operating officers, Frenchman Jean-Paul Gut and German Hans Peter Ring. Airbus will be headed by current chief operating officer Gustav Humbert, who will report to Forgeard, while the chief executives of Eurocopter and the defence businesses will report to Enders.
