Eurocopter is increasing the production rate for the EC135 to 60 aircraft in 2004 and has achieved a string of orders for the light twin in the run-up to Farnborough.
Latest orders for the aircraft include three for Delta Systems Air in the Czech Republic for EMS missions; two for Copterline in Finland; three EC135s for Norsk Luftambulanse in Norway; two for Deutsche Rettungsflugwacht (DRF) in Germany; one for ADAC Air Rescue in Germany; two for ™AMTC (Austrian Automobile Association) in Austria and one for the Queensland Government in Australia.
To date, a total of 150 EC135s are in service or on order with EMS operators worldwide.
