TWO Eutelsat spacecraft are to be launched within a week from 5 October. The European satellite communications organisation's Matra Marconi-built Hot Bird 5 will be carried on an ILS International Launch Services Atlas 2A from Cape Canaveral, Florida. The Alcatel-built Eutelsat W2 will be launched on an Ariane 4 from Kourou, French Guiana.
