L-3 Display Systems has now delivered more than 800 display, video processing and power components to Lockheed Martin for the Boeing Apache modernised target acquisition and designation system (M-TADS).
The M-TADS display is an active matrix LCD-based system featuring high brightness and night vision goggle compatibility. The system, which includes associated video processing and power modules, displays high-resolution FLIR video and is used by the copilot/gunner to access the Apache’s sensor and targeting systems.
